In order to access Qtel Mobile Internet in your iPhone, follow these 4 simple steps

1. Choose ‘Settings’ and then ‘General’

2. Then choose ‘Network’

3. Select “Cellular Data Network”

4.  Type “gprs.qtel” in APN field and leave rest of the fields blank.

Once you finished typing gprs.qtel then your settings are automatically saved in iPhone. Finally come back to home scree, switch off and switch on again your iPhone to access Qtel Mobile Internet. All data access are chargable based on Qtel charges.

Even though this topic may not be new to many WordPress admins, I am putting here to help whoever wants to identify type of SPAM in their WordPress blog and how to control it.

Had reported early in my post (Disabling WordPress Commenting still allows SPAMMERS to Comment) about lots of spam issue in our blog and I even disabled ‘Comments’ option but it has not really helped me to control even 1% of SPAM.

I was so curious to see what was really SPAMMING.

1. Identified the Public IP of a SPAM post (you can easily find this on all SPAM posts)
2. From kStats, I did a search for that Public IP and you can see below image that specific SPAM is actually TRACKBACK (trackback is to identify if someone is linking to our article)
3. I continued doing this search for random SPAM posts and finally found that all those SPAM posts are actually TRACKBACK 
   

Then I found an article – Disable Trackbacks and followed their instruction to disable trackback. So as of now I am free from SPAM and put back ‘Comment’ for this blog. You can freely Comment now.

If we double click on the drive, an error pops up and says “Incorrect function”.

Solution:

• Uninstalling InCD didn’t solve the issue.

1. Right click on CD Drive
   
2. Choose Properties
   
3. Choose Recording Tab
   
4. Check the option “Enable CD Recording On This Drive”
   
5. Apply all settings.
   

The drive worked now.

All of a sudden, we are facing lots of Spams in this blog; somehow SPAMMERS have found a way to bypass our CAPTCHA. I tried even upto extreme way of disabling ‘Comments’ option in this blog (I followed How to disable comments in WordPress), but still no luck,I am cleaning up Spams every day. I am not sure how SPAMMERS are able to comment even while ‘Comment’ option is totally blocked in this blog. 

What I did actually to disable WordPress Comments:

• Disabled WordPress Comments by default

• Disabled comments for all posts

• Disabled XML-RPC in Remote Publishing found under Writing < Settings
