It is always recommended to change the default password of your modem to safeguard your home network. Who know’s – your neighbour might be an hacker.
The default password of Qtel Huawei Modem is admin/admin and the default IP is 192.168.1.1. Remember that username and password are case sensitive.
So you can access your Huawei modem through http://192.168.1.1 (Click here) with login as admin and password as admin
Once you have successfully logged in, navigate to Maintenance > Account and change the password of admin account.
Always keep strong password with minimum 8 characters and combination of lowercase, uppercase, numbers and special characters.
You can use Microsoft – Password Checker utility to know how strong is your password – Weak, Medium, Strong or Best
